Located just in the lobby of the Shangri-La Cairns, The Backyard is a cost little hotel restaurant with great staff.
On an evening after too many club drinks, the decision was made to stay for dinner.
The $70 seafood basket was a well balanced decision with a great mix of Mackerel, Oysters, Prawns and some fried calamari & chips.
Can't fault, only recommend.
